PURPOSE:To perform the position adjustment of a diode pellet with ease, shaped roughly hexahedral and provided with a bump on its side, that has landed, with its bump not facing upward, in a glass tube with its lower end filled with an electrode with its surface aslant by a method wherein the pellet is caused to change its attitude by the lateral vibration given to the glass tube so that the bump may come to face upward and the adjustment is furthered by the other electrode with its lower surface aslant pushed in from the upper end of the glass tube. CONSTITUTION:One electrode 3' with its surface aslant and with a lead 2 provided on its rear side is pushed into the lower opening of a glass tube 1. A diode pellet 7 shaped roughly hexahedral and provided with a bump 6 on its side is dropped into the glass tube 1. When the pellet lands in the glass tube 1 with its bump 6 not facing upward, the glass tube 1 is subjected to vibration, the force applied at a right angle to the glass tube 1, so that the pellet 7 may change its attitude so that the bump 6 may face upward. After this, the other electrode 5' with its lower surface aslant is pushed into the glass tube 1 from its upper end to fix the pellet 7. |
