Dynamic storage apparatus, in particular for sensitive or fragile products such as cheese. The apparatus comprises storage tracks (4) which are arranged in parallel with one another, run precisely horizontally and receive carriages (7) bearing stored loads. The storage tracks (4) are arranged between the running paths of two transfer units (3) which permit a carriage (7) with its load (6) to be guided onto a track (4), a carriage (7) to be removed and a load (6) to be turned over when it is being transported from one track (4) to another. Furthermore, suspension means are provided in order to interconnect the carriages (7) which are supplied to one track (4).
