PURPOSE:To obtain the superconductive magnet of stabilized performance by a method wherein a superconductive wire is wound around in the state in which a non-magnetic metal bobbin is dipped in a cryogenic temperature cooling medium. CONSTITUTION:A stainless-steel bobbin 1 is set on the rotating shaft 2a of a winding machine 2, one end of a superconductive wire 3 is fastened to the bobbin 1, almost whole part of the bobbin is dipped in the cryogenic temperature cooling medium 5 contained in a vessel 4, and the bobbin 1 is cooled. After the bobbin has been contracted sufficiently, the winding machine 2 is driven, and the supplied (6) superconductive wire 3 is wound while it is being cooled. The cooling liquid 5 is to be at the temperature of the cooling medium when the magnet is used or at the critical temperature which is lower than the above. Under the state of normal temperature, a coil is tightened by the difference in expansion coefficient, the obtained magnet returns to the same condition as it was wound, no looseness is generated on the coil, and the performance of the title magnet is stabilized because there is no gap. |
