摘要 PURPOSE:To take up a slack in a cable, by constituting an automatic tension regulating mechanism for a cable type window regulator with a drum, first ratchet teeth, second ratchet teeth, a ratchet plate, a coil spiral and a resilient member. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 3, a drum 4 and a ratchet plate 5 are rotatably disposed in housings 1, 2, the drum 4 being provided with first ratchet teeth 7 and a first locking part 10, and the ratchet plate 5 being provided with second ratchet teeth 12 and a second locking part 14. Further, a spiral spring and a coil spring 25 spacially move both ratchet teeth together to take up a slack in a cable, so that a suitable tension is recovered in the cable. With this arrangement, a balance spring having a large resilient force may be employed to make the lever ratio large.
