PURPOSE:To mix and distribute supplied toner uniformly with smallsized, simple constitution by providing an external auger which has a number of uniform discharge holes in its peripheral surface and an internal auger which rotates coaxially. CONSTITUTION:The external auger 10 and the internal auger 11 which rotates coaxially inside it rotate at different speeds, a screw 12 is provided to their peripheral surfaces, and numbers of holes 13 are formed uniformly in the peripheral surface of the auger 10. Those augers are fitted to the bottom part of a developing device and toner supplied from a supply opening 15 is conveyed in the external auger 10, discharged from a hole 13, and mixed with a developer by the screw 12 of the auger 10. Therefore, toner is only supplied and then mixed with the developer and distributed uniformly; a toner cartridge is installed at an optional place and the device is reduced in size. |
