PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality image and to attain the enhancement of reliability and the reduction in cost, by setting the number of density kinds of cyan, magenta and yellow to NC, NM, NY and bringing respective magnitude relation to NM, NC>NY. CONSTITUTION:When the number of density kinds of cyan, magneta and yellow are set to NC, NM, NY, respective magnitude relation is set to NC, NM>NY. By this method, roughness feeling is reduced in a highlight part with respect to magenta and cyan to which a human eye has high resolving power to make it possible to obtain a high quality color image and the kind of coloring materials of yellow are set so as to be reduced as compared with that of cyan and magenta and, therefore, the kinds of coloring materials are limited as a whole. As a result, the number of recording heads are also limited and the simplification of an apparatus is brought about as a whole while reliability is enhanced and the reduction in cost is achieved. |
