PURPOSE:To dry soybean grains without damaging the grains, by supplying the soybean grains filled in a grain tank of a circulating grain dryer, and making a constant amount below the half exchangeable intermittently from the bottom to the upper layers. CONSTITUTION:A circulating grain dryer (A) is provided with a grain tank (a) for filling grains to be dried therein, a grain circulating and transferring apparatus (c) for taking out the grains filled in the grain tank (a) and returning the grains to the grain tank (a), a hot air producer 8 and a blower 7 for supplying hot air produced in the producer 8 to the grains filled in the grain tank (a). The soybean grains are dried by alternately repeating a drying step of filling and depositing the soybean grains, stopping the apparatus (c), and supplying the hot air to the soybean grains in the deposited state for a given time, and a circulating step of operatng the apparatus (c) for such a time as to circulate the soybean grains in a given amount and half or less of the amount thereof filled in the grain tank (a). As a result, the soybean grains with a high content are dried by using the circulating grain dryer having a large volume without damaging the grains. |
