PURPOSE:To obtain a table pot for making good quality water through the efficient decomposition of impurities in water, by inlaying a filter cylinder having a filter agent, which has filtering effect showing air permeability and comprises natural stones, mounted therein with a main body so as to insert the same into said main body along a mouth diameter thereof in a vertically suspended state. CONSTITUTION:A filter cylindrical body 6 has an internal opening 7 and the outer periphery of the mouth flange 8 above said opening 7 is formed into a tapered shape by forming the intermediate part of an upper step part 9 and a lower step part 10 into slightly tapered open top cylinder while the filter cylindrical body 6 having openings 13 provided thereto so as to leave intervals therebetween by drilling is provided to the circumferential lower surface of the lower step part 10. The filter cylindrical body has fine pores having air permeability formed thereto and a filter agent comprising natural stones is mounted in a cylinder 14. The filter agent comprises pearl stone and rosin stone containing silicon, sodium, potassium, manganese, phosphorus or magnesium. By contacting raw water with this filter agent, noxious substances such as PCB, mercury, cadmium or the like in water are adsorbed and removed.
