Signalling light for motor vehicles for emitting coloured light with a parabolic stepped reflector (14) made of transparent material which is held on an element (12) which bears a lamp holder (18). A cup-shaped element (24) is connected to the reflector (14) by means of a preferably bayonet-like rapid-release coupling. This cup-shaped element (24) surrounds with its outer casing (which is coloured in accordance with the desired colour of light) the lamp (20) located in the lamp holder (18) so that the light beams which penetrate this outer casing (24a) pass to the reflector and are reflected by the latter parallel to the axis. On the side facing the outer space, the cup-shaped element (24) has a dome-like floor (24b) which is covered by a thin layer (26) made of preferably non-translucent material.
