PURPOSE:To uniformly and exactly apply a ceramic lining to the inner surface of a rubber cylinder by bonding ceramic pieces to it without fail by a method in which ceramic pieces are arranged on the inner surface of a rubber cylinder and integrally bonded, and the pressure of a fluid is applied to the inside of the rubber cylinder so lined with ceramic pieces. CONSTITUTION:Small ceramic plates 4 are integrally bonded to the inner surface of a rubber cylinder 5 whose outside diameter D' is almost equal to or slightly smaller than the inside diameter of a tube 2 to be lined to form a lining cylinder 3. An adhesive is uniformly coated on any one of both of the outer surface of the cylinder 3 and the tube 2, the lining cylinder 3 is fitted on a supporter 6, and the supporter 6 is inserted into the tube 2 in order to insert the lining cylinder 3 into the tube 2. A pressure fluid is supplied into the tube 7 and also into a bag 9 through a hole 8 to expand the bag 9. The whole outer surface of the cylinder 3 can thus be strongly and uniformly bonded to the inner surface of the tube 2 by pressing. |
