PURPOSE:To decrease the capacity of a storage device for data and to reduce the cost of a system by assigning the end time for every analysis prior to analysis and making automatic judgement from said time to determine the intervals for storing data of the sample to be measured this time. CONSTITUTION:The signal from a chromatography is converted to a digital signal via an A/D converter 11 and enters a central processor 4. The data is converted to the data of a prescribed type and is stored into a signal data storage device 3 by the instruction in a control instruction storage device 1. On the other hand, the analyst understands approximately the content of the analysis that he analyzes in the stage of analysis and knows the time for analysis as well and therefore the analyst inputs the time for analysis by an analysis time assigner 9 in a control commander 8. The data is stored into an analysis time storage part 14 by the command in the device 1. The value is fed to a calculator 13 for the intervals of taking-in the data by which the intervals for taking- in the data are automatically calculated. The intervals for taking-in are not executed until the analysis start commander 7 in the commander 8 is started.
