PURPOSE:To enhance adsorbing efficiency, by forming water passing fine gaps between adsorbent particles by heat-meltable fiber chips between which adsorbent particles are mutually interposed before melting and solidifying said chips. CONSTITUTION:An adsorbing plate material 1 is prepared by a method wherein number less adsorbent particles comprising activated carbon or activated clay are mutually interposed between numberless heat meltable fiber chips which are, in turn, melted and solidified in a porous state to form water passing fine gas between adsorbent particles. A desired number of through-holes 2 are provided to the adsorbing plate material 1 and plural numbers of the adsorbing plate materials 1 are laminated so as to mutually communicate corresponding through- holes 2 thereof to constitute a laminated adsorbing plate 3. Furthermore, by mutually communicating the corresponding through-holes 2 of the adsorbing plate materials 1, water passing channels 6 each having a large diameter part 4 and a small diameter part 5 are formed to the laminated adsorbing plate 3 at plural places.
