PURPOSE:To make it possible to a good image free from ink omission and generating no re-transfer, by constituting an element to be transferred from a transparent base material and a coating layer containing solid wax having good compatibility with heat-meltable ink. CONSTITUTION:An element to be transferred is constituted of a transparent base material 11 and a coating layer 12 which is formed to a surface to be transferred, to which the heat-meltable ink of the transparent base material 11 is transferred, in a deposited state and contains solid wax having good compatibility with the heat-meltable ink. This coating layer is formed so as to set the thickness thereof to 0.3-20mum, pref., 1-3mum and the coating thereof is performed by a hot melt coater or a gravure coater. The coating layer pref. consists of 10- 80pts.wt. of solid wax having good compatibility with the heat-meltable ink used in thermal melting transfer and 20-90pts.wt. of a transparent adhesive resin which has the good adhesiveness with the base material and of which the glass transition temp. Tg, that is, the plasticity showing temp. is adjusted to 20 deg.C or less so as to obtain slight stickiness. |
