<p>PURPOSE:To permit the manufacture of a geometrically patterned multi-color tile by using a simple mold by a method in which various color sheets of a rubber elastomer or a thermoplastic resin are integrally molded in molds with a geometrically patterned uneven form and the surface sheet of the sheets so molded is smoothly polished. CONSTITUTION:A round sheet 3 is set on the projection 6 of a mold 1, a roundly punched sheet 4 is then set in such a way as to avoid lapping with the sheet 3, and a flat sheet 5 is set over them. They are molded by press molding method to obtain a tile. The surface of the tile so molded is polished two times and further polished precisely, washed with water, dried, and waxed.</p> |
