<p>PURPOSE:To enable economical adsorption and regeneration, by arranging a heat transfer pipe in an adsorbing tower and performing the cooling of said adsorbing tower by flowing a cooling fluid to the heat transfer pipe at the time of cooling in a regeneration process and in an adsorbing process. CONSTITUTION:Stock gas is supplied to either one of adsorbing towers 3 through a pipe 1 and a change-over valve 2 to remove impurities in said gas. Subsequently, the treated gas is sent to a deep cooling and separation apparatus 6 through a change-over valve 4 and a pipe 7. A regeneration process is performed in the adsorbing tower not subjected to adsorption. Regeneration gas is heated by heater 10 in the heating process during the regeneration process and introduced into the adsorbing tower 3 and, at the same time, a heated fluid is also sent into a heat transfer pipe 12. When the desorption of an adsorbent is completed, cooling is started. That is, a cooling fluid is flowed through the heat transfer pipe 12 to lower the temp. of the adsorbing tower to one suitable for the next adsorbing process while the sending of regeneration gas is stopped to prepare for the adsorbing process. Even in the adsorbing process, the cooling medium is flowed to the heat transfer pipe.</p> |
