PURPOSE:To reduce the overall height of an automatic metering and discharging machine by providing a gravimeter for metering and a hopper for discharging a methered body to a next process laterally adjacently, and supporting a metering vessel constituted of vessels having an upper and a lower part opened are arranged laterally in parallel thereupon in a laterally movable state. CONSTITUTION:A shutter cylinder 10 is put in operation to open a shutter 9, and when a body to be metered such as grains in the 1st vessel 2 of the metering vessel 1 attains to a specific amount, the shutter cylinder 10 is put in operation to close the shutter 9 and then a hydraulic cylinder 6 operates to move the metering vessel 1 to left in a figure, thereby discharging the body to be meterd from the 1st vessel 2 to the 1st hopper 13. At this time, the 2nd vessel 3 is positioned on the flat plate 11 of a load cell 12 and the shutter cylinder 10 operates to open the shutter 9, flowing the grains, etc., from a raw material tank 7 down into the 2nd vessel 3. Then when the body to be metered in the 2nd vessel 3 attains to a specific amount, the shutter cylinder 10 operates to close the shutter 9, and the hydraulic cylinder 6 moves the metering vessel 1 to right in the figure to discharge the metered body to the 2nd hopper 14.
