Device for cutting a continuously fed wire (22) or similar between two rotating cutting wheels (15, 16) with the same number of revolutions and equipped with at least one co-operating pair of cutting tools (17). The purpose of the invention is to produce a device with which wire is cut absolutely perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the wire with a very fast wire speed. This has been achieved through the one and possibly both rotational axles (13, 14) of the cutting wheels (15, 16) being displaceable in relation to a perpendicular plane (A) against the direction of feed (B) for the wire (22).<IMAGE> |
