PURPOSE:To obtain a photoconductive toner sharply sensitive to green light and to form a yellow image freed of color mackling in a short tie by using a toner having photosensitivity in the visible light region of specified wavelengths and coloring it to yellow. CONSTITUTION:The present toner has photosensitivity to the visible light region of 500-600nm wavelengths, and is colored to yellow, preferably such as hues belonging to the hue designation range of 5.0YR-10.0Y of the Munsell System. It is preferable for the toner to have sharp sensitivity to 500-600nm wavelengths as sensitivity characteristics and the sensitivity max. point at 520- 560nm wavelengths, and occupy >=80% of the total sensitivity in the total visible region at 500-580nm wavelengths. Since such a toner has selective sensitivity to only a green light, and it is colored to yellow, the use of this photoconductive toner permits a color image freed of color mackling to be formed in a short time from color image signals by executing an electrophotographic operation in only one time. |
