PURPOSE:To enhance image density in dry development and to obtain a high- quality copy free from development stains by using a specified copolymer layer contg. fine silica particles as a precoat resin layer. CONSTITUTION:A precoat layer and a photosensitive layer are formed on a support, and this precoat resin layer is made of a copolymer composed essentially of one of acrylate and methacrylate and one of acrylonitrile and vinyl acetate as structural monomer units, and fine silica particles, preferably, having an average particle diameter of <=5mum and an oil absorption of >=100ml/100g are added to this precoat layer in an amt. of 0.1-5pts.wt. per 1pt.wt. of the precoat layer. The use of the copolymer resin contg. such fine silica particles as the precoat layer permits a copy high in image density and quality and free from development stains to be obtained. |
