PURPOSE:To prevent blooming or smear by executing recoupling operation for a prescribed period immediately before the transfer of a frame. CONSTITUTION:A pulse phiAB is supplied for a prescribed period immediately before the transfer of a frame to reduce excessive charge immediately before the transfer down to a proper value. Consequently, the generation of blooming or smear to be generated due to the impossibility of transfer of the excessive charge at the time of frame transfer is prevented.
