PURPOSE:To connect an incoming signal even in the unhooked state of a handset by providing a switch to be opened/closed by an instruction outputted from a microcomputer on the basis of the operation of a function button. CONSTITUTION:The switch 10 to be opened by the operation of a switch operating circuit 7 is connected serially to a line between a bell circuit 1 and a handset connecting circuit 11. If the handset 4 is unhooked by some reason, a hook switch 3 is closed. When a confirmation button on a function button 8 is depressed under said state, the switch operating circuit 7 is actuated by a program instruction from the microcomputer 9 and the circuit 11 is separated from the line. At the reception of an incoming signal, the subscriber recovers the switch 10 by depressing the function button 8 to enable the communication. When a dial number sending button on the function button 8 is depressed, the switch operating circuit 7 is actuated and the normal connection of the originating signal is attained. |
