PURPOSE:To enable to prevent the trouble due to the overheating of a bath heater from occurring by a structure wherein a suction cup made of material with elastomeric property is attached onto the inner wall surface of a bathtub and a conducting mechanism formed by shape memory alloy is provided at the upper part of the cup. CONSTITUTION:A cover 5 separates a bathtub 1 from a bath heater 2 by covering a hot water inlet 3 and a hot water outlet 4. In addition, the cover 5 is made of material such as synthetic rubber or the like and serves as a kind of suction cups by being given elasticity to itself. A conducting piece 6 is arranged in the interior of the cover 5 and made of shape memory alloy so as to response to the water, which has a temperature exceeding the certain fixed value and enters the interior of the cover 5. When the bath heater 2 is heated, the hot water having a temperature of about 50-60 deg.C enters the interior of the cover 5, resulting in heating the conducting piece 6. The heating of the conducting piece 6 causes a part of it to protrude against the inner wall surface of the bathtub, resulting in separating the cover 5 from said inner wall. As a result, the inside and outside of the cover 5 conduct to each other and the adsorbability of the cover 5 is lost and finally the cover 5 is removed from the inner wall. Accordingly, when the bath heater is fired, the cover is automatically removed by itself, resulting in solving the overheating accident of the bath heater. |
