PURPOSE:To prevent a part of passed air from being flowed into a front surface of a combustion cylinder in a swirled form to disturb a combustion flame and to prevent a disturbance of flame from spreading by a method wherein a diffusion plate resisting against a blowing air is arranged at a rear part of the combustion cylinder in a burner for use in drying grain particles. CONSTITUTION:A carburetting cylinder 1 for carburetting fuel under its rotation and a combustion chamber 2 for gushing out the vaporized fuel forward are arranged at the central part, a heating unit 4 for igniting vaporized fuel is arranged at one side of a combustion cylinder 3 for diffusing and guiding combustion flame forward, and diffusers 5, 6 for applying resistance against the blowing air while being projected outward from the outer circumferential edge of the combustion cylinder 3 are arranged at the upper and lower parts of the combustion cylinder 3 except the heating unit 4 at the rear part thereof. Air flowing around the outer circumference of the combustion cylinder 3 receives some resistances by the upper and lower diffusers 5, 6, so that the combustion flame may easily be diffused at the upper and lower parts, while the heating unit 4 arranged at one side of the combustion cylinder 3 is positioned at a part where the combustion flame is hardly diffused and its overheating is hardly occurred and further since the combustion flame is diffused upward and downward, the fuel is prevented from being changed to oil drips at the lower end of the combustion cylinder 3 to make a complete combustion of the fuel.
