ATOMIZING AND PULVERIZING DEVICE FOR MOLTEN METAL

PURPOSE:To atomize and pulverize a molten metal to about several microns by exerting a compressive stress to nozzle terminals to close said terminals and to enable narrow and uniform opening of an injecting annular band according to the pressure of a liquid and providing an evacuating chamber in the lower part of said band. CONSTITUTION:An injecting annular band formed of nozzle terminals 1, 2 is normally closed by compressive stress and is opened according to the liquid pressure of the high pressure fluid introduced into a liquid chamber 10. The gap thereof is maintained approximately uniformly in a narrow range by which the jet symmetrical with the circulr conical axis is obtd. An evacuating chamber 6 is provided at the lower part of the injectng annular band. The chamber 6 is communicated with the lower side on the injection side of the jet.
