PURPOSE:To keep the contact resistance of a battery to an equipment using it low all the time by applying a conductive corrosion-resistant material on part of a positive electrode case made of aluminum and on part of a bar-like negative electrode terminal made of stainless steel in a small-size lithium battery. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode case 6 made of aluminum contains a collector body 1a holding a positive electrode active material 1, and a negative electrode 2 made of lithium metal and a bar-like negative electrode terminal 3 made of stainless steel are set to contact each other, being isolated from the collector body 1a by use of a separator 4; thus a small-size lithium battery is formed. On 7a, part of the peripheral surface of the positive electrode case 6, which forms an external terminal face, and on 7b, part of the peripheral surface of the bar- like negative electrode terminal 3, a cold setting silver paste is applied as a conductive corrosion-resistant material. In this way, it is possible to keep the contact resistance with the terminal of an equipment using this battery low even after storage, improving the stability of quality. |
