发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING DEPTH OF MOLTEN SLAG AND SLIDING PARTITION PLATE FOR ELECTROSLAG WELDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To control automatically molten slag to an optimum depth and to enable full automation of electroslag welding by comparing the depth of the molten slag detected by utilizing ultrasonic vibrators and optimum depth and controlling the amt. of the flux to be charged. CONSTITUTION:The surface and depth of molten slag 3 are detected by utilizing plural pieces of ultrasonic vibrators 11 arranged on the side of a sliding partition plate 8 for the slag 3 on the side opposite from the slag 3. The detected depth and the preset optimum depth are compared. The amt. of the flux to be charged is caluclated from the deviation thereof and a control device 6 for charging the flux is controlled according to the calculated amt. The control quan tity of the plate 8 is calculated frm the surface of the slag 3 detected in the above-mentioned way. A device 10 for driving the plate 8 is controlled according to the calculated value, by which the slag is automatically controlled to the optimum depth.
