PRODUCTION OF SPECTACLE FRAME

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a spectacle frame having good quality without exfoliation in the brazed part thereof by forming a Cu-coated composed Ti wire by hot hydrostatic extrusion at a specific temp. and annealing the wire then working plastically the wire to a frame shape and temple shape and brazing the same. CONSTITUTION:A composite wire of which the core material is composed essentially of Ti and the sheath material is composed essentially of Cu is formed by hot hydrostatic extrusion at 550-750 deg.C and is annealed under conditions of <=20min at 520-580 deg.C. Such composite wire is plastically worked to the frame shape and temple shape respectively of spectacles and the respective parts are brazed at <=700 deg.C to form a spectacle frame. The formation of the cause for exfoliation in the stage of brazing is eliminated by the annealing treatment of the composite wire in the above-mentioned method, by which the spectacle frame having high joint strength is obtd.
