PURPOSE:To provide a thermoplastic resin compsn. having superior heat stability, toughness, and excellent elastic properties, adhesive properties, etc., well suited for tubings, automobile parts, etc., by incorporating an ionomer resin with a polyaminde elastomer in a specific wt. ratio. CONSTITUTION:5-99pts.wt. ionomer resin which is a mono- through tri-valent metal salt of a copolymer of olefin (e.g., ethylene) with unsatd. carboxylic acid (e.g., acrylic acid) and 95-1pts.wt. polyamide elastomer contg. 0-50wt% resin such as a polyamide resin or an acid-modified olefin copolymer (e.g., ethylene/ acrylic acid copolymer) are mixed to yield the intended thermoplastic resin compsn., wherein said polyamide elastomer is a copolymer contg. hard segments such as nylon 6, 66 and soft segments such as a polyether component or polyester component.
