In the prepn. of polyester resin moulding materials, an agent to increase its viscosity is added. The resin is reinforced with fibres, and includes polymerisation initiators, inhibitors, loading materials and viscosity regulators. The resin is based on the addn. product of 2-naphthol with maleic anhydride, inhibited with sulphuryl chloride or an acid chloride of an organic acid at a level of 0.02-3 wt. % on the resin mass. The organic acid chloride is pref. acetyl, benzoyl, terephthaloyl or fumaryl. The viscosity increaser is pref. an oxide or salt of a Gp. II or III metal at a level of 1-10 wt. % on the resin; and/or aliphatic or aromatic diisocyanates; and/or aliphatic or aromatic diamines; and/or dihydrazone, at a level of 0.2-20 wt. %. |
