Device to form pastes, used in the sweetmeat mfr., into continuous strands consists of a large roll, sepd. by a roll gap from a small roll. The wedge-shaped cavity from the roll gap down is filled up by a strand moulding piece, with a plain contour towards the small roll and a comb-like contour leaving grooves for the strands on the side facing the large roll. A large variety of pastes can be moulded into strands which can then be subdivided into squares or bars. A simple exchange of the strand moulding piece permits the same machine to be used for different strands.
|
