PURPOSE:To protect a compressor and to increase the efficiency by correcting the timer value of a data unit timer which forms voltage data and always maintaining the PWM output voltage constant for the frequency. CONSTITUTION:50/60Hz commercial frequency input and a rotary frequency command (f-set) are inputted to the first microcomputer 5. The microcomputer 5 outputs a signal of a carrier period Tphi formed by the first microcomputer 5 and T2 data for data unit timer T2 formed by the second microcomputer 6 to the second microcomputer. The microcomputer 6 outputs a PWM signal to a motor. A variation in a power source voltage is detected by a power source voltage variation detector 18, outputted as a boost data from the microcomputer 5 to the microcomputer 6, thereby correcting the T2 timer.
