<p>PURPOSE:To allow interpolation and operation of error sample data with excellent reproducibility as much as possible by detecting characteristics of arriving digital signals and selecting an arithmetic output of a corresponding interpolating arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:Arriving video data signals VD are successively fetched into a data input circuit 21 of shift data constitution, and their contents are outputted as parallel data. These data are added to respective arithmetic circuits 11-15 of an interpolating arithmetic circuit 16, and the prescribed interpolating operation is executed. At the same time, they are added to a line adder circuit 18 and an interpolating arithmetic selection control circuit 19. Outputs of a interpolating arithmetic circuit 16, the line adder circuit 18 and the interpolating arithmetic selection control circuit 19 are added to a selection output circuit 17, where optimum interpolating arithmetic data can be selected in accordance with an error pattern of the video data signal obtained in said circuit 19.</p> |
