PURPOSE:To make easy direct soldering to the terminals of a cell by forming a film of noble metal such as gold or palladium on the outer surface of a positive and a negative terminals made of stainless steel which serve concurrently as a case of an organic electrolyte cell. CONSTITUTION:A lithium negative electrode 3, a separator 4, and a positive electrode compound 5 are assembled into a flat type organic electrolyte cell by use of a stainless steel open-top sealing plate 2 concurrently serving as a negative electrode terminal, on the surface of which has been formed a gold or palladium film 8. And the cell is planted in a base plate 11, and lead ends 9, 10 are fixed by direct soldering. Since gold or palladium is easy to melt with solder, it can be soldered in a short time because of its good wettability, preventing the heat transfer into the cell with little influence on the cell characteristics. |
