PURPOSE:To provide the titled composn. which has excellent flame retardance and thermal aging resistance, consisting of a polyamide, melamine cyanurate and a specified tetramethylpiperidine derivative. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide, 1-20wt% melamine cyanurate which is a salt of melamine and (iso)cyanuric acid in an equimolar quantity, 0.01-20wt% 2,2,6,6- tetramethylpiperidine derivative of the formula (wherein m is 0-2; R1 is H, methyl, ethyl, phenoxymethyl, phenyl; R2 is a 1-8C alkyl) and optionally additives such as thermal stabilizer (e.g. KI), lubricant, mold release agent, etc. are dry-blended or melt-kneaded together.
