PURPOSE:To supply a releasing agent adequately by forming a supply roll by forming small holes on the surface of a cylindrical body which contains the releasing agent and covering its outer circumference with a heat-resistant elastic material and heat-resistant resin, and arranging the supply roll on the surface of a fixing roll. CONSTITUTION:Plural small holes 21 are formed in the surface of the cylindrical mandrel 22 which contains the releasing agent 27, and its outer circumference is covered with silicone sponge 23. Further, a film of silicone varnish of heat- resistant resin is formed on the surface, and both ends of the mandrel 22 are closed tightly with a cover body which is not shown in figure to form the supply roll 15. The supply roll 15 is pressed against the heat-resistant elastic material layer 17 on the surface of the fixing roll 13 and rotated as shown by an arrow C. The releasing agent 27 exdudes from the sponge 23 and is supplied to a heat- resistant elastic material layer 17. Consequently, the supply of the releasing agent 27 is optimized. |
