PURPOSE:To prevent scattering of a toner in the stage of replenishing the toner to a toner box by forming the cap part of the toner box of a lower plate material having a long hole and an upper slidable plate material having a round hole and avoiding overlapping of the holes during the normal time. CONSTITUTION:A long hole 2a is provided in the central part of the cap body 2 of a toner boxy body 1. A cap body 9 is provided on the upper side of the body 2 laterally slidably along cap body retainers 7, 7'. A round hole 8 fitting to the neck part of a toner bottle 6 is provided. The body 9 is normally held shifted to avoid overlapping of the hole 2a and the hole 8. Replenishment of the toner is accomplished by fitting the neck part of the bottle 6 into the hole 8 and shifting the body 9 to the right and left to match the hole 8 and the hole 2a. The leakage of the toner fume to the outside and the consequent staining of the person handling the toner and the device in the stage of replenishing the toner are thus prevented and the uniform replenishment of the toner is made possible. |
