PURPOSE:To measure a discharge gas diffusion area and take a measurement of discharge gas concentration by arranging a relief model supported fixedly in a measurement wind tunnel wherein a wind blows at a desired speed while diffused by a lattice type air current controller, placing tapes on its surface, and allowing a discoloring reagent applied to the tapes to react with the tracer gas. CONSTITUTION:When a fan 5 is rotated to blow a wind into the measurement wind tunnel 1, it is diffused by the air current controller 6 constituted in a lattice shape and the wind having a specific diffusion distribution and wind speed distribution diffuses mixed gas discharged from a chimney model 2. The diffused gas contacts the surface of the relief model 4 arranged fixedly in the measurement tunnel 1 to discolor the discoloring reagent with which the tapes 12 are impregnated react and discolors. Consequently the arrival area of the mixed gas discharged from the chimney model 2 to the relief model 4, i.e. diffusion range is known, and its concentration distribution is estimated qualitatively. |
