PURPOSE:To enable to facilitate the positioning of the axial position and central position of a Belleville spring and a pressure plate by a structure wherein the pressure plate and a case are connected by means of splines in a power transmission device consisting of a fluid coupling and a power cut-off clutch. CONSTITUTION:A pressure plate 3 and a rear cover 110A are connected to each other by means of splines 4 so as to automatically or manually release and slide a clutch. Concretely, the connection of splines 4 consists of external splines 53 formed on the outer peripheral side 51 of the bearing race 5 of a thrust bearing 198, to which the outer periphery 31 of the pressure plate 3 is fixed, and internal splines 64 formed on the inner peripheral side of the axially directional part 61 of a sleeve member 6 connected to the rear cover 110A. |
