PURPOSE:To permit easy assembling of the unit itself and installation to an electrifying device body by attaching a spring to one end of a corona discharge body, attaching turnably a shaft body to be wound with the corona discharge body to the other and unitizing the assembly to one unit. CONSTITUTION:A spring 12 is attached to one end of a corona discharge body 2 and the opposite side of a spring 12 is attached to an insulating terminal support 4 and is electrically connected to a terminal 6. An insulating shaft support 3 is engaged with the support 4 at a projecting part 3b and a recess 3a to form a unit. The body 2 is wound on a turnable shaft 1 and is supported by a bearing part 10. The length of the body 2 is so set that said body is completely unwound when mounted to the electrifying device body and that adequate tension id given thereto by the spring 12. Installation of the device is accomplished by inserting the terminal 6 to a terminal not shown, disconnecting the parts 3a, 3b and engaging the support 4 and the support 3 to the electrifying device not shown. The assembly of the discharge unit and the installation thereof to the electrifying device are thus easily accomplished and the damage during storage and transportation is prevented. |
