The clamping screw 8 is mounted in a body 3, itself housed in the structure, behind the mobile jaw 2, and it is composed of two coaxial elements which are telescopic inside each other, at least one 14 of which is tubular, a rear element 8 mounted in this body 3 so as to be able to be rotationally driven about its axis, without the possibility of sliding, and a front element 14 capable of sliding longitudinally without turning in this body by driving the mobile jaw 2 in its travel. The bottom piece 18 of the body 3 is arranged to allow hydraulic clamping of the workpiece 16 to be machined; a locking piece 20 allows all the members to be mechanically held in the clamping position. <IMAGE>
