PURPOSE:To reduce end breakage, to make ending easy, and to eliminate uneven weaving and uneven dyeing of woven fabric, by rewinding raw silk having high water content at low temperature. CONSTITUTION:Raw silk having water content (e.g. 20-25wt% water retention ratio) is rewound at low temperature such as 0 deg.C. For example, raw silk, can be rewound at 500-800m/min yarn speed. Even if foreign substances are attached to yarn during rewinding, improvement in yarn quality and rationalization can be attained since cutting and ending are carried out automatically.
