The motorised apparatus comprises a vessel 1, a motor 2 and a contact for starting and stopping the motor, accessible via a groove 21. According to the invention, the device comprises a lid 3 for covering the vessel 1 and an element 4 mounted so as to rotate on the lid. The element 4 includes at least one lug 42 fitting into a slideway 12 of the vessel in order to lock the lid on the vessel and a lug 44 penetrating into the groove 21 in order to actuate the contact and to start the motor. The locking and the starting do not require a rotation of the lid, which permits provision of a sealing member between the vessel and the lid, and a contour of the lid and of the vessel having any shape. <IMAGE>
