<p>PURPOSE:To overrecord a video signal or an FM sound signal at an optional time after by recording FM sound signals and video signals on a magnetic tape optionally independently of each other with respect to time. CONSTITUTION:Modes of signal supply to a full width erasing head Het, the first and the second rotary heads Hv and Haf, a control head Hvc corresponding to a video track, a control head Hac corresponding to an FM sound track, a fixed sound head Hal, and the other heads are changed in accordance with individual operation modes. Thus, only FM sound signals are recorded on a magnetic tape MT, and only video signals and narrow-band sound signals are recorded, and video signals are overrecorded on the magnetic tape MT where FM sound signals are already recorded, and signals are recorded in the other various modes.</p> |
