PURPOSE:To measure a discharge gas area and take a measurement of the concentration distribution of gas in the diffusion area by placing a reed screen or mesh type indicator above a relief model supported rotatably in a measurement chimney wherein a wind diffused by a turnable plate type air current controller flows at a desired speed. CONSTITUTION:A fan 5 is rotated and the air current controller 6 is put in operation. The air current controller 6 is a turnable plate type arranged perpendicularly, and this is operated to regenerate the wind which flows at the desired speed on specific air current condition (degree of disorder), thereby diffusing mixed gas discharged from a chimney model 2. The reed screen or mesh type indicator 12 is provided above the relief model 4 which is supported rotatably at the downstream and set in a desired wind direction, so the diffused gas contacts a discoloration reagent with which the indicator 12 is impregnated and the reagent discolors, so that diffusion range of the gas is known from the discoloration state. |
