The seat is made in the shape of a shell 1, which has a backrest 2, a base 3, two lateral arm rests 4, 5 and a median arm rest 6, which divides this shell into two recesses 7, 8, the seat being equipped, on the one hand, with a strap anchoring device, and, on the other hand, with two holding devices such as harnesses 41, 42 respectively mounted in the two recesses. According to the invention, the anchoring device comprises coupling members 15, 22, 23 arranged in a floating fashion at the base of the rear face of the backrest 2 and located approximately opposite the three arm rests, these members cooperating with at least one anchoring strap 31 which is taken up, while being free to slide, by two anchoring lugs 33, 34, and which extends in the shape of a V, starting from each lug, to end at the corresponding lateral member and the median member mentioned above in order to be coupled to them in an adjustable manner. <IMAGE>
