PURPOSE:To form a color image at a high speed by forming the electrostatic latent images corresponding to the color components of an original picture on an image carrying body and developing the same with the charge developers of the colors corresponding to the respective color components. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a photosensitive body 1 is uniformly electrified by a primary electrifier 15. The light from a halogen lamp 3 is focused through a color filter 5 onto the surface of the original O on an original plate 14. The red light, green light and blue light transmitted through respective color filters 6R, 6G, 6B are successively irradiated on the original O and the electrostatic latent images corresponding to the respective color components of the original picture are formed on the surface 1 of the photosensitive body by the reflected light thereof. The electrostatic latent images are developed by ink jet arrays 20, 30, 40 and are then transferred onto a transfer material P. |
