The standard hexagonal plate has edge hooks and eye-loops, for interlocking with others in a ground covering, such as emergency roadway. It is esp. made of aluminium-silicon alloy. Moulding channels (6), forming diverging reinforcing ribs are located under the loadbearing plate (4), running out from the central casting point (4). These open out in the lateral area of the hooks (2) and loops (3). A connecting crack-preventive rib (9), between channels, in the sector (7) between the hooks and loops, is wider than the channels.
