PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a pressure drop in a vane back pressure chamber as well as to aim at the promotion of smoothness in starting, by installing an interconnecting passage, which is interconnected only at a time when a high pressure chamber is interconnected to a low pressure chamber after compressor stoppage and pressure in the low pressure chamber is state of higher pressure than the vane back pressure chamber and the low pressure chamber. CONSTITUTION:A low pressure chamber 2 is interconnected to an interconnecting groove 9 which has a proper sectional area at an end face of the side of a rotor 5 of a front plate 6 so as to be interconnected to each of plural vane back pressure chambers 10 and is formed in an annular form via an interconnecting passage 8. Such a valve 4 as being formed so as to open when pressure in the vane back pressure chamber 10 drops more than the pressing force of a spring 11 to support a valve plate 5 but closes when it goes beyond the pressure. And, in time of compressor stoppage, pressure in both high and low chambers 3 and 2 is equalized, while a fluid in the low pressure chamber 2 being higher than in time of operation is charged to the vane back pressure chamber 10 whereby a pressure drop in the chamber 10 is prevented. With this constitution, a smooth compression action is performable without becoming compressibleness and/or entailing any chattering. |
