PURPOSE:To dissolve problems such as the liquid leakage during storage at a high temperature and high humidity and an internal short-circuit due to a shock by heating the opening tips of a separator made of thermal plastic resin fibers and forming inwardly curled sections. CONSTITUTION:The inlet of a mole 12 has a recess, separator tips 8a are pressed to the mold 12 heated by a heater 13 to be heated and curled inwardly. In this case, the outer diameter of the curl tip is made phi4, which is smaller than the inner diemater of the inlet of the cap section of a seal body 3. Accordingly, the opening tips of the separator are prevented from partially being bent irregularly when the seal body is coupled with the separator, thereby affecting on an improvement in the liquid leakage resistance of a cell and a remarkable decrease of an internal short-circuit extremely effectively. |
