<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the agitating efficiency of a high-viscosity liquid by suspending a hollow cylindrical body with both ends opened at fixed intervals above a partition plate which is provided horizontally in a digester, and providing a means, etc. for introducing the formed gas into the cylindrical body from the bottom part. CONSTITUTION:A digesting liquid rich in digested sludge is taken out by a pump P from the bottom part of a digester 1, and the digesting liquid is introduced into a hollow cylindrical body 3 through a circulating line 4 of the pump. The sludge to be charged can be supplied into the cylindrical body 3 from a line other than the line 4. In this case, since the circulation by the pump is not directly aimed at fluidizing and agitating but is aimed only at conveying the digesting liquid to the hollow cylindrical body 3, the formation of a high-speed discharged flow is not needed. Although the circulating flow rate of the pump may be regulated to 0.05-1.0m<3>/<3>.vessel.hr, the rate is most suitably regulated to 0.1-0.5m<3>/<3>-vessel-hr in consideration of the agitating effect and the running cost.</p> |
